I had two teeth removed two months ago. An impacted wisdom above a cracked back molar. I opted for an oral surgeon vs my dentist. Cost was slightly higher, but worth it. I waited to post review, awaiting Delta Dental to finalize the insurance and co-pay I paid up front. Still waiting on insurance stmt, but received a refund check in mail today from Frontier. (Some other doctor offices have held credits on account for extended periods of time in The Villages area, like a year) Dr. Karpovck is highly skilled. I had little bleeding or pain. Office follow up after was exceptional. Office decor is unusual for medical profession, but I guess to provide a relaxed feeling? I would highly recommend this business. I took my 92 year old mother there because she wanted to get new teeth. She is the hardest person to please on the planet, but she was very pleased with Dr. K. Truly the best choice for oral surgery! 1week ago I had 27 teeth extracted for dentures. 27!! Dr. K spent over 2 hours at my consultation explaining everything. A week later, surgery went well and dentures put in same day. Sure it was uncomfortable but following instructions, in 1 week I feel pretty good. I had 1 sore area and he adjusted my dentures to not rub on the sore spot. Much better! My smile is BEAUTIFUL and looks so natural! Lori (assistant) was so kind. I should be eating solids soon! This is great place for oral surgery , I was taken in as a referral from dentist , they got me in right away , took care of problem tooth , felt 100% better. Plus staff is not only professional, but friendly and caring. If going to dentist scares you , this is not that place, this was actually a great experience. I had 21 teeth extracted, which is something I had feared and put off for a very long time—but from the moment I walked in, I felt like I was truly cared for, not just treated like another patient. My oral surgeon took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and reassure me every step of the way. That alone made such a difference in calming my anxiety. You can tell when someone genuinely cares, and that’s exactly how I felt throughout this entire process. What surprised me the most was how manageable everything was. The pain was very tolerable, and the swelling was minimal, far less than I ever expected for such a major procedure.
